How To Make a Matcha Frappe At Home

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Rutgers chapter.

Oftentimes, it seems like purchasing a matcha drink is less of a sweet treat and more like an overpriced gamble. Between your local bakery charging $6 a cup and oftentimes tasting more like whole milk than matcha itself, what was once a guaranteed explosion of flavor tastes instead like money wasted. However, with just a few at-home ingredients at the ready, you can endlessly customize your drink to your palate at a fraction of the cost.
