Lay’s Just Unveiled Five New Limited-Edition Restaurant-Inspired Flavors

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at testing chapter.

I’m a firm believer that there is no such thing as too many flavors of potato chips. Lay’s is bringing the heat this summer with new flavors inspired by iconic meals from some of America’s most beloved restaurants. It’s like a food tour, but all chips aka MY DREAM COME TRUE. So, let’s see what we’re working with.

Lay’s Kettle Cooked New York Style Pizza inspired by Grimaldi’s in New York City. Now you can get a slice of the city on a crunch kettle cooked chip.

Lay’s Nashville Hot Chicken inspired by Party Fowl in Nashville. Watch out, these guys are CLUCKIN’ HOT.

Lay’s Philly Cheesesteak inspired by Geno’s Steaks in Philadelphia. You can almost taste the peppers and onions on these bad boys.

Lay’s Wavy Carnitas Street Taco inspired by El Torito in Los Angeles. All the carnitas flavor with none of the mess.

Lay’s Chile Relleno inspired by Cocina Azul in Albuquerque, available exclusively at Walmart and 7-Eleven. Give me all the poblanos.

You can expect to find Lay’s Flavor Icons potato chips in retailers nationwide starting on July 13th. Grab a bag of your new favorite flavor while you can. Or get creative and make a hot-chicken-cheesesteak-pizza-street-taco-relleno all at once. YOLO.
