Bring a pot of water to a boil.
Add the macaroni noodles to the boiling water.
Reduce the heat to that magical point where the water will continue to boil but not overflow—about medium power. Cook for 10 minutes.
Strain the noodles.
Turn the heat on low of the same pot and add butter. After the butter melts, add the flour, salt and pepper.
Stir.
Continue stirring and slowly add the milk.
Once that looks well mixed, add the cheese!
Stir until you’ve produced gold velvet.
Add the noodles and stir.

Oil a cupcake pan and preheat oven to 425°F.
Spoon the mac n’ cheese into the cupcake tin. It should divide nicely into 9.
Top each cupcake with a pinch of panko.
Put the cupcakes in the oven for 20 minutes.
Take the cupcakes out of the oven and let them cool for 20 minutes.
During this cool down, make the icing with that same pot. With the heat on very low, add the sharp cheddar cheese and the cream cheese. Stir.
Once the icing is well mixed, top each cooled cupcake. Lastly, add some cheddar and panko sprinkles. Enjoy!
