If you’re like us, 10 seasons of Friends just wasn’t enough, so we’ll take any opportunity to be nostalgic. We miss Ross’ freakouts. Phoebe’s quirks. And, of course, our favorite food moment when Rachel accidentally combines a trifle and shepherd’s pie. Gross, we know. But, as committed fans, we decided to make it anyways.
Rachel's Meat Trifle

- 1 package ladyfingers
- 4 cup vanilla pudding
- 3/4 cup raspberry jam
- 1 pint raspberries
- 1/2 lb ground beef sautéed with peas and onions
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 2 cup whipped cream
Place ladyfingers in the dish, covering as much of the bottom of trifle dish as possible.
Spoon 2 cups of vanilla custard to fully cover the ladyfingers.
Dollop spoonfuls of jam on top of the custard and smooth.
Add another layer of custard.
Scatter the raspberries on top.
Add another layer of ladyfingers.
Spoon on meat with peas and onions.
Spread the remaining 2 cups of pudding on top.
Add a layer of banana slices.
Top with whipped cream.
