Ok so it’s fairly certain that good ol’ guac is always a good idea. And if someone says otherwise, they probably either haven’t tried it or are lying, period. With guacamole rising in popularity and being part of almost every restaurant out there, it can get repetitive, so it’s time to kick it up a notch and upgrade the traditional cilantro and lime guac to a dish that is fresh and perfect for summer.

Because if you’re anything like me, when summer heat rolls around, you most definitely don’t want to turn on any ovens, microwaves, or anything that magnifies the ungodly heat. So this is where no bake recipes save the day, and what’s better than cool, silky, and fresh avocados mashed to perfection served with crisp veggies and tortilla chips? Pretty much nothing.

But wait, there is something better than that, add diced  mangoes to the mix. This may sound odd, but you guys the combination of avocados and mango will make you want to eat the entire bowl because after all it does contain fruit so it’s automatically calorie-free.

Picture creamy silky avo with big chunks of sweet mango on top of a salty, crispy, corn chip. There’s literally saliva dripping down my mouth.

Guacamole as it is, is the cherry on top of any get together or barbecue, but add in-season mangoes, and you will pretty much be the life of the party.

It’s also SO extremely easy to make and you can whip it up at the last minute when you forgot you had to bring a dish to your friend’s potluck. See, guacamole is always a life saver. Always.

This recipe is foolproof and even if you’re challenged in the kitchen department, I can guarantee that if you know how to chop and mash, you will be golden.
