Milk’s favorite cookie has gotten a facelift— and it’s never looked better. If you’re like me, you’ll eat an Oreo with anything— especially dipped into a large glass of ice cold milk or smothered with peanut butter. And, if you’re like me, you don’t believe that anything is as good as Trader Joe’s original Speculoos Cookie Butter (I’ve been known to devour a whole tub in one sitting).

But, the original Oreo has been transformed, and it’s safe to say that the new “Cookies n’ Creme” cookie butter comes in as a very close second to the classic. So if dipping your Oreo in milk no longer makes the cut for cookie butter traditionalists, here are three ridiculously easy recipes featuring this new culinary creation: 

 

No-Bake Oreo Truffles Topped with Cookies n’ Cream Cookie Butter

Easy

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 2 hours in refrigerator
Total Time: 2 hours 5 minutes

Servings: 36 Truffles

Ingredients:

8 oz. package cream cheese
1 package of Oreos (36 count)
Cookies n’ Creme cookie butter

Directions:

1. Finely crush the Oreos in a Ziploc bag.

2. Mix the Oreo crumbs and cream cheese together.

3. Roll into balls and spread out on wax paper atop a cookie tray.

4. Refrigerate for two hours.

5. Spread the cookie butter on top of the truffles.

6. Devour.

 

Cookies n’ Cream Cookie Butter 7-Layer Bars

Medium

Prep Time: 10 min.
Cook Time: 25 min.
Total Time: 35 min.

Servings: 12-16 Bars

Ingredients:

½ cup butter (melted)
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
Cookies n’ Creme cookie butter
14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
Shredded coconut
Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Dark chocolate chips
White chocolate chips
Pecan pieces

Directions:

1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F.

2. Mix melted butter together with graham cracker crumbs. Add in cookie butter to taste. (The more the better in my opinion.)

3. Press the crust mixture down evenly into a 13 x 9 inch pan.

4. Pour the condensed milk over the crust.

5. Sprinkle copious amounts of shredded coconut, chocolate chips and nuts over the condensed milk.

6. Bake for 25 minutes.

7. Remove from oven and let cool before serving! These are guaranteed to bring anyone right back to childhood from the first taste.

 

Brownies Cookies n’ Cream Cookie Butter Style

Prep Time: 10 min.
Cook Time: 20-25 min.
Total Time: 30-35 min.

Servings: 12-16 Brownies

Ingredients:

Brownie mix
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup water
1 egg
Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Oreos
Cookies n’ Creme cookie butter

Directions:

1. Pre-heat oven to 325°F.

2. Follow the directions for making the brownie batter from the box.

3. Pour half of the batter into a 9×9 baking pan.

4. Coarsely crush Oreos and spread evenly on top of batter.

5. Bake for 10-15 minutes.

6. Spread the cookie butter on top of the now somewhat cooked layer — it will melt.

7. Pour in remaining batter.

8. Bake for another 10-15 minutes.

9. Remove from oven and either let them cool and serve them up, or devour immediately right out of the pan!

 

Of course, the possibilities for Cookies n’ Cream Cookie Butter are endless. Here are some more ideas to try:

  • Spread it on your favorite waffles or pancakes.
  • Stuff it inside cookie dough balls before baking.
  • Mix it with a spoonful of peanut butter.
  • Put it in a s’more.
  • Spread it on these peanut butter pretzel truffles.
