Although warm weather is off to a late start this year, the Cherry Blossom Festival always comes with it. If you don’t have time to make it downtown, luckily you can still get your cherry fix in Georgetown.

Georgetown Cupcake
Naturally, the iconic Georgetown Cupcake has their own seasonal cupcake for the cherry blossom festival. Their version consists of a vanilla cupcake with fresh cherries topped with a cherry infused cream cheese frosting. It just might be worth waiting in that line for one.

The Graham Georgetown Hotel
For a more refined taste, the restaurant within the Graham Hotel has a cherry and goat cheese pastry. If you’re looking for that perfect cherry drink to accompany your meal, they also have a selection of spring cocktails that includes the Old Blue Eyes, which mixes Hendrick’s Gin, muddled brandied cherries, St. Germaine liqueur and a splash of cranberry.

This French menu has many specialties for the duration of the Cherry Blossom Festival. Some of their options include duck with sweet and sour cherry sauce and, from the bakery, a cherry clafoutis.
