This means you get to make the most important meal of the day the most exciting. The ultimate breakfast sandwich has a little bit of everything – at least everything I could find in my fridge and freezer that made sense to pile between two Eggo waffles. It also makes for a killer hangover cure. I’ve yet to see a downside here.
There’s a mountain of flavors to play with so feel free to mix and match with your preferences.
The Ultimate Waffle, Hash Brown, Egg, Sausage, Goat Cheese and Avocado Breakfast Sandwich

- 4 Eggo waffles
- 4 sausage links
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 frozen hash browns
- 2 teaspoon crushed basil leaves
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 package of goat cheese
- 2 tablespoon Cholula hot sauce
- 2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
Toast Eggo waffles until crunchy golden brown and set aside.
Mix mashed avocado, goat cheese and Cholula sauce and spread over Eggo waffles.
Slice sausages lengthwise, fry in oil until browned and drain on a paper towel.
Fry hash browns in the same pan until golden brown and drain in a paper towel as well.
Fry eggs seasoned with lemon juice and a light dusting of basil flakes, parsley, garlic salt and black pepper covered for three minutes.
Stack ingredients on the Eggo waffles with the spread and serve with two fried eggs each.
