BLTs are a classic. But what if we could make the classic even better? What if we added a new nacho cheesy flavor to our beloved bacon? We went into our laboratory (ie: kitchen) to try out our genius invention, and we think you should too. Bacon up your seat belts, kids, we're making D-BLTs.

    Ingredients

  • 1 package thick-cut bacon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup finely-crushed Nacho Doritos
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk or water

  • Step 1

    Lay bacon strips on a baking sheet with foil and bake at 375ºF for about 15 minutes.

    Crush up Nacho Doritos and add flour, baking powder, and salt.

    Slowly add in your milk (or water). If the batter is too thick, add more liquid.

    Coat your bacon bits in the Doritos mixture and lay onto a flat surface.

    Fry the battered bacon pieces for 2-4 minutes on each side.

    Assemble your BLT as desired. Lettuce, tomato, and mayo are required, but feel free to get creative.
