All you want is something warm and cozy to satisfy your cold blues. This chili recipe will fulfill your every need in 30 minutes. It's simple, spicy, and inexpensive. The best part is that you'll have leftovers for the rest of the week!

    Ingredients

  • 12 oz roasted red peppers chopped
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 ½ tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 16-oz can reduced-sodium black beans drained
  • 16-oz can chili beans undrained
  • 10-oz can diced tomatoes with green chilies undrained
  • 16-oz can salt-free tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • Step 1

    Pre-heat large pot on medium heat for 2-3 min. Chop peppers and onions. Add the oil to the pan.

    Place the peppers, onions, and chili powder into pan. Cook until onions are tender.

    Add meat and let cook until no pink remains (5-6 min).

    Place the remaining ingredients in the pot and simmer for 15 min. Serve hot and enjoy!
