I jumped on board and started putting matcha in my breakfast smoothie instead of my usual cup of coffee and felt just as refreshed. I have been using this super ingredient in other recipes so keep reading to see how I made a matcha cake the college way- in a mug.

Chocolate Chip Matcha Mug Cake

    Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 3 tablespoon almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2-3 tablespoon agave
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • Whipped cream

  • Step 1

    Add the dry ingredients of flour, baking soda, and matcha powder into the mug.
