I really love Red Bull. There’s no other way to put it. Red Bull before work, Red Bull at the bar – if the energy drink is there, count me in.
I also really love wings. I probably sound like a total guy, but few things are better ithan a nice juicy chicken wing with some super spicy hot sauce.
So you can probably imagine my excitement when I stumbled across a Red Bull glazed chicken wing recipe. Whatever foodie came up with this recipe deserves some serious recognition because this one’s a slam dunk. And the best part is? Only 5 ingredients.
Red-Bull Glazed Chicken Wings
- Prep Time:5 minutes
- Cook Time:30 minutes
- Total Time:35-40 minutes
- Servings:10 wings
- 10 chicken wings
- 1 large chili pepper
- 1 250mL can Red Bull
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
On low-medium heat, use frying pan to cook chicken until brown.
#spoontip: It’s important to make sure the heat isn’t too high, so you don’t burn the outside without semi-cooking the inside.
After chicken is cooked, transfer chicken into sauce pan.
Add Red Bull, garlic, and chili pepper to saucepan. Boil.
You can substitute chili powder for the chili pepper, and minced garlic for garlic clove.
As the mixture comes to a boil, add soy sauce. Simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove chicken wings. Throw some pineapple chunks on top for extra sweetness. Serve to all your energy drink loving friends.
