Being from Long Island, bagels are a food group of their own to me. Every morning growing up, I would wake up, walk down the block, and order my signature bagel: an everything bagel lightly toasted with butter. The flavor of the savory, salty seasoning combined with the hot bread and butter made for the most delectable breakfast you could imagine. Everything bagels were everything to me.

So, while wandering through the aisles of Trader Joe's, I was obviously over the moon to see that they had just come out with a new seasoning: Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend. This was the solution to all of my problems in life. I had to have it, and I had to put it on everything. If you consider yourself a bagel connoisseur like me, or if you just love the delectable combination of sesame, onion, garlic, poppy, and salt, then this article is for you. Here is what you should use it on:

Grilled Cheese

The ooey-gooey cheese, mixed with the butter-smeared bread was screaming for this seasoning. Just sprinkling some in the middle of your grilled cheese will amp up the flavor exponentially. You must do this. You will not regret it.

Broccoli

Yes, I know, a scary vegetable. But trust me when I say this seasoning on ANY vegetable will make you eat an entire plate full. Oven roasted, sautéed, or after steaming, take your veggies to the next level by everything-ing it.

Chicken

As the staple protein in my life, I am always looking for new ways to rev up my go-to grilled chicken. Thank you, Trader Joe's, for making meal prep way more fun and tasty.

Avocado Toast

Instead of the usual salt and pepper pairing with avocado, try taking it up a notch with Everything but the Bagel. Add some tomatoes for a bright burst of flavor too. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you.

Eggs

Eggs are delicious, but can sometimes get boring flavor-wise. Shower your scramble with this seasoning to make your eggs boring-no-more.

Plain Bagels (Or Any Type of Bread)

And last but not least, if you are bored of your plain old bagels or bread, simply make your own everything bagel. All you have to do is add egg wash, put on some seasoning, bake for 5 minutes and voilà, you got yourself a DIY everything bagel.

There you have it. Basically just sprinkle this on whatever you are cooking for a guaranteed awesome meal. Stop by your nearest Trader Joe's today, and everything up your world.
