With New Year's resolutions in the rearview and spring break just around the corner, everyone is looking for the next big thing to lose weight. Lucky for us, masterminds Wes Allison, Stephanie Bogdanich, Molly R. Frisinger, and Jessica Morris have devised, quite possibly, the best way to lose a couple pounds, and it involves eating one of your favorite foods. Say goodbye to the stomach rumbling days of juice cleanses and hello to 30 days of tacos.

What's the Catch?

Tacos for every meal, sounds ideal, am I right?! Well, there is one small catch—the cleanse is vegan. But wait, don’t give up on it just yet. The cookbook includes fresh, delicious, and easily adjustable recipes for all foodies and all occasions.

For breakfast, the Mighty Migas taco is a hit. Tofu serves as an excellent substitute for eggs. You can hardly tell the difference when tofu is accompanied by onion, jalapeño, tomato, tortilla chips, and spices.

So what can you put in a taco?

The question is more of what can't you put in a taco, because the choices are unlimited (well, and vegan). From Frito Pie tacos to Mexican Chopped Salad tacos, the possibilities are infinite. You won't be bored (or hungry) on this diet.

If you’re on the more adventurous side, the Healing Jalapeño Popper Tacos or the Smoked Brisket (made with seitan) and Jalapeño Mac 'n Cheese Tacos might be the ones for you. The mac can be made with either a cashew or flour based sauce.

What about dessert?

For those of you with a sweet tooth, fear not! Just grab your favorite sweet treats and wrap 'em up in a waffle tortilla. The authors suggest a recipe for Churro-Waffle Tacos made with, cinnamon sugar waffles, sliced bananas, and agave or maple syrup. If this doesn’t scream heaven, I don’t know what does.

The options are endless. I mean think about it, what can’t be made into a taco? There's even a Passover Taco made with a collard leaf tortilla and filled with avocado, potato, and much more more.

The creators of this life-changing cookbook and diet could really be onto something. Even Jennifer Aniston is willing to give it a try. After all, a taco in the morning has been proven to help wash away last nights (possibly toxic) fun. And really, what can't be cured with a little hot sauce and a side of guacamole.

Although this new cleanse definitely doesn’t guarantee weight loss, it does ensure 30 days of pure bliss and deliciousness. More tacos? Yes, please. This is a cleanse even I can get behind.
