With winter sneaking up on us, we need to start preparing for the holidays, so you know what that means: Cookies. So. Many. Cookies. These trail mix cookies take your most basic (literally, it’s so easy) oatmeal raisin recipe and pump it up.

They’re super versatile and you can add any trail mix inspired ingredients you want — from toasted coconut to cashews. Peanut M&Ms, peanuts, and chocolate chips star in this recipe, because who doesn’t love anything with peanuts and chocolate?

#SpoonTip: Only add red and green M&Ms to have the perfect holiday cookies.
