It’s almost that special day that you get to spend with someone you love! However, there’s one problem. You have no idea where to eat for your Valentine’s Day dinner, yet you want to make it a little more special than Chinese takeout. Luckily, this article is for you! Below you will find the top 5 restaurants in the Palouse to enjoy a Valentine’s Day dinner at.
1. The Lodgepole
Located in Moscow, Idaho this place is a little bit more fancy. Enjoy anything from pasta, to salad to the Lodgepole burger. There are options to sit outside, where you can see down the bustling streets of Moscow or you can enjoy your meal warmly inside. This restaurant has beautiful glass windows that make it feel very open and fancy. I’ve also heard the wine here is quite delicious!
2. Gambino’s
A classic Italian restaurant located in Moscow, Idaho. This place is a little bit more casual than the Lodgepole. The ambiance is very dark but makes it feel more fancy. The pasta and pizza here is very tasty and highly recommended. This place is perfect if you’re not trying to spend a lot of money, but still want a nice place for your Valentine’s Day dinner.
3. Fujiyama
A really fun Japanese steak house! Located in Pullman, Washington this restaurant is a little on the more expensive side but really worth it. You have the option of being seated at the Hibachi bar, the sushi bar or at a regular table. The chef’s are very entertaining and really make the whole experience lovely. I wouldn’t say this a very romantic dinner destination, but if you’re looking for a fun night with delicious Japanese food, this is the restaurant for you.
4. The Black Cypress
This restaurant is located in downtown Pullman. Definitely one of the, if not the most, fanciest restaurants in Pullman. If you’re looking for a classic fancy Valentine’s Day dinner I would really suggest checking this place out. It has a beautiful ambiance inside, with huge windows and a gorgeous seating. For Valentine’s Day weekend they even have a special 5-course meal going on that you can book a reservation for. This place is on the more expensive side, but worth it for the delicious meal. 5. The Foundry
Another great restaurant located in downtown Pullman, underneath the Bell Tower! I went here for Valentine’s Day last year with a group of my friends and it was so good! There is a lot of variety to choose from on the menu and the staff is very friendly. It also is a little fancier so great for Valentine’s Day. I would say if you choose this place to make sure to make a reservation as there isn’t a lot of space.
Hopefully this article gave you an idea of where to eat for your Valentine’s Day dinner! Wherever you pick in the Palouse to eat, we hope that your holiday is full of love.
