Watching TV and eating go hand-in-hand. But let’s leave the delectable dishes to the Food Network, because the weird foods your favorite characters eat might not exactly whet your appetite.
1. Spaghetti Tacos: iCarly
A household favorite for Carly and Spencer, spaghetti tacos simply consist of two great foods we would rather keep separate. If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it—am I right? I guess we can’t blame them for the creativity, though. If we lived without a real adult (sorry, Spencer) we’d be eating pizza every day.
2. Milksteak: It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Charlie Kelly is notorious for many things like illiteracy, Dayman and his love for The Waitress, but you probably didn’t know that he is also recognized for his exquisite taste in fine foods.
3. Cheesy Blasters: 30 Rock
When Liz Lemon gets stressed, she does what we all do: workout. Just kidding, she eats. If only we were innovative enough to make these cheesy blasters, complete with a hot dog, shredded cheese (duh), pizza sauce, pizza dough and pepperoni.
4. The Swanson: Parks and Recreation
Ron Swanson is a man who likes his meat. He is famous for “The Swanson,” a bacon-wrapped turkey leg that helps him keep his distance from any and all vegetables.
5. The Naco: Kim Possible
Ron Stoppable’s nacho and burrito combination is commendable, but wouldn’t the chips break through the tortilla? We still love you, Ron, but this just wasn’t your best idea, logistically speaking—although we did find these two takes on this Mexican combo.
6. The 7 Layer Salad: How I Met Your Mother
The seven layers of the 7 layer salad include the following: lettuce, bacon bits, cabbage, Funyuns, gummy bears, potato chips, carrots and (of course) mayonnaise. Lots and lots of mayonnaise. Yum? All healthy conceptions of a salad just went out the window with this one.
7. The Sauce: New Girl
Nick recreates a famous family recipe for sauce that includes bologna, bread and who knows what else. But actually, who knows? It’s a family secret.
