Flying Cow Froyo

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Wash U chapter.

Ever since the closing of Chill, WashU’s campus has been in mourning. The ultimate question has been on the tip of everyone’s tongue: where to get my daily dose of froyo now? Orange Leaf or Tutti Frutti? We’re here to offer another option — it might be farther from campus, but every sample, bite, and topping is 100% worth it.

Flying Cow Froyo, a SLU staple, might just be your froyo dream come true. Once you step into the store, you will notice some zany and creative flavors: there’s Strawberry Lemonade for the tart lovers, Chocolate Caramel Turtle for those with a sweet tooth, and other flavors like Graham Cracker and and Alpine Vanilla for the more adventurous among us. Of course, it includes the classics (Original Tart, Peanut Butter, and Cookies n’ Cream). Flying Cow also offers Greek froyo, so you can stop trying to make froyo from the Chobani in your fridge (let’s be honest — it would just go awry anyways). We all know that froyo is “good for you”. It’s low cal, low sugar, low cholesterol, etc. But Flying Cow takes healthy to a new level — each flavor is packed with probiotics as well.

Check out your soon-to-be favorite froyo spot, either at the Grand Center location or the new site downtown. Flying Cow won’t disappoint.
