Sriracha can easily be added to anything from spaghetti to chocolate ice cream (sounds weird, but trust me once you try it you will never use hot fudge again). But why stop at just adding it to the top of your favorite dishes? Don’t. These simple, spicy snack recipes will provide any Sriracha lover with a satisfied tummy.
1. Sriracha & Greek Yogurt Dip
Simple is an understatement. Just take a small container of Greek yogurt and add Sriracha to taste. Scoop it up with some corn tortilla chips or assorted veggies and you’ll be set.
2. Sriracha Sesame Popcorn
Want to spice up a study or movie snack? Yes please! This piping hot popcorn is the answer. Mix one tablespoon of Sriracha, one teaspoon of garlic powder, one tablespoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of sesame seeds. Pop one bag of buttered popcorn, open the bag and sprinkle half of the Sriracha mixture evenly over the popcorn. Close the bag and shake shake shake. Open and repeat with the second half of the mixture. Put it in a bowl and enjoy.
3. Sriracha Garlic Bread
This cheesy snack is sure to set your taste buds on fire. Mix together two tablespoon of Sriracha, garlic (fresh or powdered) to taste and melted butter. Spread the mixture over 3 pieces of bread and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Pop in the toaster or oven until toasted to perfection.
4. Baked Sriracha Chips
Who needs Lays, these potato chips are sure to fulfill your craving.
5. Sriracha Hummus
Spice up your chickpeas! Similar to the Sriracha & Greek Yogurt Dip, take your homemade or Sabra hummus and add about 1 tablespoon of Sriracha sauce. Veggie or pita chips make for a great scooper for this dip.
6. Sesame Sriracha Brittle
This recipe may be a bit more labor-intensive, but once you make a batch you can munch on it for the next few days (or share with fellow Sriracha fans).
