We don’t just eat our food anymore. We record videos of ourselves preparing it. We share the location of where we first tasted it. And now, thanks to a hip couple in L.A., we can have a coloring book of it.
The brilliant company Color Me Book launched their masterpiece this past April after Cory Will (the self-proclaimed Chief of Coloring Operations) wanted to give his wife a personalized coloring book but couldn’t find the right business that could do it.
On the Color Me Book website, you can upload your own photos (any type will work — but your #SpoonFeed might just be the coolest), create a custom cover and message, and then wait patiently. A California-made coloring book of your hand-traced images will be delivered to your door in 3-4 weeks. These 10-page custom books start at $55 and make some pretty sweet gifts for literally anyone who enjoys fun.
The company also offers a handful of pre-made themed books ready in about 1-2 weeks in case you just can’t wait that long. Baking, Cooking, Brunch, Pizza, Coffee Art, Beer, Craft Cocktails, and Wine are the main food-focused books they’ve uploaded so far. These books are also 10 pages long and are only $20.
The couple’s brilliant idea can now keep foodies happily occupied (and less hangry) until they get their next meal. Even cooler? Color Me Book is working with art schools and programs to donate them supplies from a portion of the company’s profits.
The only hard part will be picking out which completed coloring page to hang on your wall…or which to repost to Instagram.
