Drop Everything and Head to Bryn Mawr’s New Qdoba

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Villanova chapter.

Breaking news for Main Line residents: Qdoba Mexican Eats has opened a brand new restaurant in Bryn Mawr, and it’s phenomenal. Take it from me…I’m not even embarrassed to tell you I went there three times within a week of its grand opening. Here are the reasons you should drop whatever you’re doing and take a walk, a car, or a train to Qdoba’s new location.

Their amazing food, of course.

Some of the menu items I tried during my three trips to Qdoba last week included the Knockout Tacos (they truly knocked me out), the taco salad (the bowl is the best part), the chips and queso (seriously, you won’t regret getting this queso), and some good old guacamole. Everything was amazing, and reasonably priced to boot.

Free guacamole with every meal.

That’s right. Unlike some of those other Mexican-style food joints (cough, Chipotle, cough), Qdoba will give you FREE guacamole on your tacos, burritos, and salads. In fact, the only thing you have to pay extra for is extra meat.

There’s a full bar inside.

If you’re over 21, listen up! This Bryn Mawr location is the first Qdoba EVER to offer a full bar. History is being made here, people. I tried a margarita with my lunch last week and I swear it made my tacos taste even better. Stop in on weekdays from 4:30-6:30pm for Happy Hour specials.

The friendliest staff around.

I was just as impressed with the Qdoba employees as I was with their delicious food. There’s a learning curve with every new restaurant opening, but these employees already knew how to welcome their guests AND make a bomb burrito.

Location, location, location.

This new Qdoba is located right on Lancaster Avenue, and unlike many Main Line businesses, there is a large parking lot right next to the building. Easy to get to, easy to park, and you can even walk right across the street and grab a Hope’s cookie for dessert.

A few added perks.

If you stop in, make sure to grab a Qdoba rewards card and sign up for the program for free. Qdoba also offers a catering menu for your next big event. And if you’re ever in a hurry, head to the Qdoba website to order online, then pick up your food in the store.
