I’ve always believed that brunch is the best meal ever, but when I first moved to LA a few years ago, I found myself overwhelmed with options and at a loss. There’s nothing sadder than missing an opportunity to brunch because you and your friends can’t decide where to go, and it’s suddenly lunch time.
No matter what part of LA you live in or what your favorite part of brunch is, I’ve got you covered with this list of 10 of the major neighborhoods that span all across LA. Grab your stretchy pants and get ready to brunch.
1. DTLA – Perch

This classic DTLA brunch spot offers both tasty drinks and breathtaking views. Situated on the roof of a skyscraper downtown, you’ll want to make a reservation as it gets crowded on weekends. While they offer the classic brunch cocktails like mimosas, Bellinis, and Bloody Marys, their seasonal fruit sangria pitchers are a must try.
2. Silverlake – Barbrix

Eight dollar bottomless mimosas. Need I say more?
3. Franklin Village – La Poubelle Bistro & Bar

My obsession with La Poubelle started long before it made a cameo in Amy Schumer’s hit comedy Trainwreck. Nothing makes you feel trendier than eating at a French bistro on this hidden little street, and the food is delightful. They even have their own rooftop vegetable and herb garden. Bottomless mimosas are $16 on Saturday and Sunday, 10am-4pm.
4. Koreatown – Commissary

This lush restaurant will make you feel like you’re dining in a greenhouse, and they’ll keep you hydrated with $28 bottomless mimosas, Bellinis, and Bloody Marys. If you’re feeling adventurous, try one of their signature brunch cocktails (In Love with the Coco is one of my favorites). Afterwards, stick around and take a dip in hotel’s pool right outside the restaurant or play a game or two of foosball.
5. West Hollywood – Hamburger Mary’s

This unconventional brunch, in true WeHo fashion, features a drag show, and four varieties of Bloody Marys or $15 bottomless mimosas, so take your pick. Be sure to check out their cool bathroom, which features a disco ball and Abba’s Dancing Queen. It’s so cool even Bernie Sanders brunched here when he was campaigning in LA.
6. Los Feliz – Fred 62

On the surface, this spot might just look like another car-themed diner, but it offers so much more. Their food is next level (my favorite is the Berkeley sandwich), and to accommodate all lifestyles, they offer vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. If you’re not feeling their weekend brunch menu, try one of their all-day classics, like the Santa Fe Frittata. The best part? $6 Bloody Marys.
7. Santa Monica – Brick + Mortar

Brick + Mortar isn’t your typical Sunday brunch place, it’s more of a continuation of Saturday night. While they don’t take reservations, feel free to order bottomless mimosas at the bar and jam out to some good tunes while you wait. Or get a Bloody Mary and indulge in their toppings bar, which includes egg rolls, bacon, and donuts, to satisfy all of your morning cravings.
8. Beverly/Grove – Tart

This boozy brunch spot is situated right by The Grove and the farmers market. They serve bottomless mimosas or Bloody Marys for $18. You also won’t want to miss their specialty punch bowls, which are perfect for sharing with a friend.
9. Culver City – Rush Street

If you’re a Bloody Mary fan, this spot has your name written all over it. Rush Street lets you make your own Bloody Mary, giving you the choice of three types of tomato juice, ten different hot sauces, and gourmet olives and garnishes.
10. Venice – The Anchor

Just two blocks away from Venice Beach, this cozy spot has bottomless drinks for $16 and lobster rolls that are to die for. If you’re a breakfast person, you’ll love their Lobster Benedict.
11. Honorable Mention: The Valley – The Six Chow House

While not technically in LA (sorry, Valley girls), the Valley still has some great boozy brunch spots to offer, like The Six Chow House. Here, you’ll find $15 bottomless mimosas and tasty food such as their breakfast burrito.
