This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UNM chapter.

A red chile cheese burger can be hard to find, but once you’ve discovered The Little Red Hamburger Hut you will never have to search again. Located just a few minutes from Old Town, this little restaurant is worth the drive from campus and here is why.

Seriously, you will probably here this about 100 times when you visit the hut, but its what the owners believe in and they make it known. The great thing about this being their slogan is that you know you will get great service, great food, and a great time.

I pride myself in knowing a good burger so believe me when I say that this is one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. When I visit The Little Red Hamburger Hut, I get the medium Little Red combo which includes a 1/4 pound burger with red chile and lettuce, fries, and a drink. Cheese is a must so I always add that to my burger.

Once you receive your burger and hear “Satisfaction guaranteed!” for the hundredth time, you can actually feel your taste buds being satisfied. There’s just something about the toasty bun, meaty cheese, and red chile that completely satisfies.

3. All the Other Great Eats
