Open-air dining? Check. A wide variety of options? You bet. Great food? Of course! The Galleria 7 Market in Latham, New York has it all. If you’re the kind of person who has a hard time making a decision, don’t fret. Here is a guide to the many different places you can eat at Galleria 7 Market.
Hooked Seafood Co.
From fish and chips to fried oysters and crab cakes, Hooked Seafood Co. will meet all your seafood needs. Every option comes with your choice of an assorted daily side salad. I recommend the lobster roll on a brioche bun. Hooked also has their own t-shirts. Will Hooked have you “hooked”? You’ll have to cast your line to find out.
Chops and Hops Meat Market
Chop’s and Hops is not your typical, run-of-the-mill eatery. The menu has a Wild West theme, which encourages you to go big or go home. With the words “Wanted” and “Reward” on every option, as well as a steer skull, Chops and Hops means business. Expect to enjoy loaded cheese steaks and fat burgers. You can even purchase meats here and for a small $5 fee they will cook it just the way you like it. If you think you can venture into uncharted territory, step up to the plate and try Chops and Hops.
Anna’s Wood Fired Pizza Co.
“Fresh, fired and fast.” What more could you ask for? Anna’s Wood Fired Pizza Co. has something for everyone. They even allow you to create your own pizza, giving you infinite options. Not up for pizza? No problem. House specialities include wings, salad and lasagna. This is definitely the way to go if you’re looking for Italian.
The White Apron
Check out The White Apron if you’re in the mood for something healthy. With a variety of juices, smoothies, salads and wraps (not to mention gluten free options), their menu really does live up to their mission, which states: “serve delicious, clean, natural, affordable food that guests will want to return to week after week.”
I-Dog Macaroni Co.
I-Dog Macaroni Co. specializes in fancy hot dogs and mac and cheese. One of their signature dishes is The I-Dog (it is in the company name, after all). Whether you build your own or go for one of their featured Dogs, you certainly can’t go wrong. They also have a lot of mac & cheese options, and sides including house made trail mix and parmesan tater tots to round out your meal.
Kobe Hibachi
Kobe Hibachi has all kinds Japanese food. You can get anything from typical hibachi, Japanese appetizers and they not have sushi-ritos and poke bowls. If you want Japanese food but don’t want to go to a sit down restaurant, Kobe Hibachi is a great option.
Walking into a market hall and seeing options out the wazoo can be pretty overwhelming (believe me, I’ve been there). Hopefully this guide has helped point you in the right direction when navigating the options at Galleria 7 Market. Also, look for Murice’s Deli and a new rolled ice cream shop coming soon. We can’t wait.
