Starbucks Has a BOGO Deal on Espresso Drinks Today

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Union chapter.

Here’s the reality of the situation, you can always use a second coffee. And even if you’re the kind of person that only needs one coffee, first of all, I wish I was you, but second of all, I’m sure you could always find a friend to share with. Starbucks understands the dire need for an afternoon coffee pick-me-up, so today’s happy hour includes a BOGO deal that has me thanking the Starbucks Gods.

Today, Starbucks is offering a buy-one-get-one deal for all the espresso drinks on their menu, and don’t worry, the options are nearly endless. They just have to be grande size or larger and you’ve got yourself a free espresso drink. It’s as simple as that.

The deal starts at 3 pm and goes until closing, so even if you can’t get there for the time of a typical afternoon pick-me-up, you can still redeem your free espresso anytime before they close. Make sure to check the hours of your local Starbucks before heading over because closing times vary.

But, before showing up, you need to make sure that you either sign up for a happy hour invitation or sign up to be a Starbucks Rewards Member (or find a friend who already is). Then, once you sign up, you’ll get a code that you can show to your barista to get the deal.

This free coffee from Starbucks is part of their movement to increase the number of Starbucks Rewards Memberships. They currently have about 15 million members, but looking to grow even bigger. So help Starbucks to continue to help you with more deals like this by becoming a Rewards Member and enjoy more free coffees in the future. But, for now, all you need to know is today is your day. Enjoy your two espresso drinks my fellow Starbucks lovers.
