In the final hours of one of the most important days for couples, one might search long and hard for a gift their special someone will enjoy. Well, look no further. These are, in my opinion, the best chocolates on the market, quality and price wise. Does your Valentine like rich flavors, sweet flavors, or even fruity? They are all here and not one box is over $5. But don’t be fooled by such a low price tag, these chocolates are to die for.

$1.79 for 7 chocolate hearts

  • The chocolate is filled with a rich fudge and the outer chocolate is a marbled pattern made with milk, dark, and white chocolate. It is relatively sweet and is comparable to popular brands.
  • This is amazing for people who love sweet treats, but even more, those who love a good deal. Who needs discounted chocolate the day after Valentine’s Day when you can get good-tasting, festive, chocolate for only 2 dollars? Trader Joe’s has a variety of delicious Valentine’s treats to choose from.

$3.89 for 12 chocolate hearts

  • This chocolate was such a delightful surprise and it made my entire day. The variety of chocolates is great and the taste is even better. There are 6 different flavors and 2 of each.
  • This box had two fruity flavors, and the rest is decently sweet with a variety of fillings from caramel to bourbon vanilla.

$4.29 for 18 pieces of chocolate

  • These have the most variety of chocolate for chocolate lovers. This is also perfect for people who hate fruit with chocolate since the only fruit in this variety is coconut.
  • This is the most classic Valentine’s Day chocolate box for someone who loves romance.

$4.99 for 8 “slices of pie”

  • This box of chocolate is for someone who not only loves chocolate, but also loves themed foods. It comes with four different kinds of pie, and rating each one was incredibly fun.
    • Raspberry Cream reminded me of cheesecake
    • Coconut Cream was semi-sweet but not bitter, and definitely was coconut
    • Mixed Berry was light, sweet, and not overly fragrant
    • Chocolate Cream is for the chocolate lovers and is like fudge
  • I highly recommend this for someone who loves light, sweet, and fruity chocolates, and this should be a year-round collection.

If you decide to get your lover one of these, I am sure they will love it, because you can never go wrong when gifting food. Hopefully you have a Valentine’s Day as sweet and amazing as these chocolates!
