You’re broke, tired and need a coffee—welcome to UF. Students wait upwards of a half hour on campus for an overpriced latte just because it’s on their way. Quality is sacrificed for convenience every day. But UF marketing senior Adam Rioux, 21, believes you can have both.
On Feb. 6 of this year, he launched his own cold-brewed coffee subscription business.
“Cold Mountain Brew [is] an easy, convenient solution for daily coffee drinkers…it takes less than 2 minutes to make a week’s worth of cold brew coffee.”
How does it work?
With a one-time purchase of a cold brew maker and a monthly $30 subscription for fresh-roasted beans, you can be your own barista. Instead of the average $4 cold brew at Starbucks, with Cold Mountain Brew you’ll be spending only $1 a day. That’s thirty bucks a month instead of $120, assuming you only drink one cup a day. With fresher, cheaper coffee, you’ll be happy and so will your wallet.
As a fellow Gator and coffee connoisseur, Adam designed Cold Mountain Brew with you in mind, as part of the “younger generation…who are busy, on-the-go, and want a better tasting coffee while saving money.”
Already spreading nationally, Cold Mountain Brew is saving students time and money, and most importantly, helping them stay caffeinated. With orders stretching from New York to Cali, you could be the first one to trend it in the Swamp. Happy brewing.
