1. Planet Oat’s Cookies & Cream Ice Cream
To start off, Planet Oat’s Cookies & Cream non-dairy frozen dessert was a real treat. Smooth and creamy, this oat milk-based ice cream is perfect for cookies & cream lovers. The pint was filled with chunks of crunchy chocolate cookies that satisfied the oreo fan in me.
This can be enjoyed by many people as it is dairy-free and lactose-free.
As one of my favorite non-dairy ice creams, this dessert is the perfect way to top off dinner. One of my favorite ways to enjoy this ice cream is to grab a pint of this flavor for a day of relaxing in front of the TV.
I give this sweet treat a 9/10 rating.
2. So Delicious’ Chocolate Coconutmilk Ice Cream
Coming in second, we have So Delicious’ Chocolate Coconutmilk ice cream. If I’m being completely honest, this one was good, but it’s not one of my favorites.
However, if you’re a fan of coconuts and like the taste of cocoa powder, this frozen dessert is for you.
Although I wished this ice cream was creamier and smoother to eat, it did have a unique texture to it. Oddly enough, this ice cream wasn’t very cold. For my ice cream biters out there, I have a feeling you’d love to dig your way into this coconut milk ice cream.
I’m giving this one a 6/10. I’d love to give it another try sometime in the future.
3. Ben & Jerry’s Almond Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
In third place, we have Ben & Jerry’s Non-Dairy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream made with almond milk.
Once I hear the name Ben & Jerry’s, I automatically assume that the ice cream is beyond good. If I hear that almond milk is involved in the ice cream, you can find that pint already in my shopping cart.
Surprisingly, I was extremely disappointed in this Ben & Jerry’s pint. The milk overpowered the taste of cookie dough and chocolate chips and left an odd aftertaste in my mouth. The only plus about it is that it had huge chunks of chocolate in it.
I’m going to give this pint a solid 3/10. I hate to do this to Ben and Jerry, but they’ve left me with no other choice.
Honorable Mention: Rebel Creamery’s Coffee Chip
And for an honorable mention, we have Rebel’s Coffee Chip Ice Cream. Although this ice cream is not dairy-free, it is lactose-free.
This ice cream delicacy has a wonderful, strong coffee flavor with plenty of small chocolate chips thrown into it. If you’re a huge coffee fan, this ice cream is made for you. It has 90 mg of caffeine, so instead of your afternoon cafecito or coffee pick-me-up, you may want to consider this option.
For being such a rebel (pun intended), this rebel gets an 8/10 from me. Its only downside: not being dairy-free.
Dairy-Free Deliciousness
As the photo mentioned above says, yummy things really do come for those who wait. Don’t wait too long to try these ice cream pints at your local Publix and judge them for yourself, though. Remember, no one can ever have too much ice cream.
