When we learned about Ice Cream City Festival being held at DLF Place, Saket by I Haat Delhi, we were thrilled beyond words. Because, we love Ice Cream more than anything else. The world can betray us, but ice cream would never cease to bring a smile on our face.
There, we just got carried away, and why not? Ice Cream City had some of the quirkiest ice creams on offer. We’re no sadists, but you will totally regret having given it a miss, and Nitrogen Ice Cream is just one of the many reasons.

1. Azote Nitrogen Ice Cream
This could be ice cream too. Wondering how? If nitrogen ice cream was on your checklist, Ice Cream City definitely provided you with the best. Azote, which had only two flavours – Red Velvet and Chocolate Cheese Cake – was able to get as many customers as the other stalls with more than 15 flavours. Nitrogen certainly worked its magic.
2. The Healthy Options
All the health conscious ice cream lovers, this was the right place for you. Diet 1st had a handful of exhilarating flavours which were sugar-free and/or high protein with low fat variants. Sweet sans the fats = gorging without guilt. Azote too offered gluten-free chocolate cheesecake ice cream.
3. Mimi’s Gourmet Gelato
Mimi’s Gourmet Gelato had all the flavours, and all the people were after it. You name it, they had it. Caramel & Rum, Bailey’s Irish Cream with Hazelnut, Red Wine Sorbet, Beer Sorbet, Strawberry & Tequila.
Frozen with liquid nitrogen, they were super creamy and super smooth. If that sounds like something you’d rather not give a miss, call them up for your own drink flavour! Yes, you heard it, they do home delivery.

Not sure if we are crushing on it, or under it. We wouldn’t mind either.
5. Swaad-e-Ice Cream Rolls

If the concept of ice cream rolls has you drooling, just wait till we list down the flavours. Nutella Love (Banana & Nutella), Berry Extraordinary (Blue Berry), Emerald Delight (Kiwi & Strawberry), Cookie Monster (Oreo) to name a few, this was definitely the main attraction of the entire event. The rolls were served with the right kind of toppings and a waffle cone for plate. Bliss, enough said.
6. Ice Cream Games
There were games such as Fastest Ice Cream Eating, Team Ice Cream Eating, No Hand Ice Cream Eating and Speed Blind Tasting Challenges.
We had just one thing to say – as long as it involves eating ice cream, bring it on.
7. Red Velvet + Chocolate
Yes, the famous red velvet ice cream with chocolate syringe. Did someone say #foodporn?
8. Naturals Ice Cream
Because artisan ice cream made using only fruits, dry fruits, chocolates, milk and sugar, sans preservatives, is irresistible. It had us at the Sapodilla and Mango flavours.
