Why You Should Visit Cafe Wink The Next Time You’re in East Delhi

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UDelhi chapter.

East Delhi has a dearth of good cafes, and Cafe Wink comes like a breath of fresh air. Let’s start with the basicstolerable ambiance, euphonious music and good food. Here are the things that make me give the green flag to this Italian and fast food place:

Their repertoire of sandwiches, pastas, lasagnas, bruschettas, shakes and beverages is refreshing. And the post-it notes on the wall won’t tell you otherwise.

Pastas are their specialty—the a la carte menu features delectable options of pasta paired with fresh vegetables and blended with sauces like arrabiata, pomodoro, béchamel, alfredothe list goes on.

My personal favorites—Toblerone Shake and KitKat Shake—go best with the signature Three-Cheese Alfredo Pasta. You wouldn’t be disappointed if you order the BBQ Lasagna either, which is another interesting option with an Indian twist. However, I wouldn’t recommend the Five Star Shake to my fellows who are not big caramel lovers. But if you are crazy about your caramel, do give it a try.

It is a place where you can have long conversations over delicious food. You can stay as long as you want, even after you have devoured all you ordered, which makes it perfect for lunch dates and small study groups.

Let’s go by its namethe place is terribly adorable and cozy, the food is creative and delightful.

If you put up nearby, or your college is in this part of Delhi, you must check this one out. The cafe comes like a sip of the spring’s salutiferous water for a thirsty wayfarer. Here’s to the Toblerone shake again!
