New Ways To Use 9 Common Kitchen Tools

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at UC Berkeley chapter.

If you hear the words “kitchen tools” you probably won’t raise an eyebrow. After all, kitchen tools aren’t all that exciting. For example, you use the egg slicer to slice eggs. Then, you return it to its drawer, and it sits in the dark until you make hardboiled eggs again. End of story. Or is it?

If you were to take a moment to get to know the real egg slicer, you’d find out that he actually enjoys slicing fresh strawberries as well. And mushrooms. And soft cheeses. So, before you think you know your kitchen tools, give this article a read. Your kitchen tools’ range of abilities might actually make you raise an eyebrow (or two).
