Three Cookies That Only Require Three Ingredients Each

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at U Penn chapter.

These recipes are perfect for the lazy chef. As fall turns into winter and we care less and less how we look under those puffy jackets, why not learn how to make the easiest, quickest cookies of your life? Check out these two-ingredient recipes using bananas for extra easy inspiration.

1. Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

You won’t believe that these silky smooth cookies only have three ingredients. Just one cup of sugar, 1 cup of peanut butter, and 1 egg (or 2 if you like gooier cookies), yields 18 perfect little bites (recipe here). Seriously, all you have to do is stir. The cookies will be ready to go before the oven even has time to preheat. If you’re so inclined, chocolate chips make a great addition. Or if you want a throwback, sandwich them with your favorite jelly.

2. Three Ingredient Coconut Macaroons

These cookies are great because they seem sophisticated, but couldn’t be simpler. All you do is mix coconut shreds with condensed milk and vanilla extract, scoop the balls onto a tray, and bake (recipe here). These macaroons are a little more exotic than your everyday cookie and are sure to make your friends think you have extensive baking knowledge.
