It’s a fact of life that everyone loves bagels. It’s impossible not to: they’re big, fat balls of carby goodness. But coming from New York, I’ve been disappointed by the bagel selection around campus. Luckily, there is one place I can get decent bagels: Capogiro. Are they the best bagels I’ve ever had? No. But they’re definitely serviceable; they have good flavor, texture, and size (large enough to be satisfying, but not so big that you feel weighed down). But here’s the best part: Capo sells a whole bag of day-old bagels (virtually indistinguishable from the fresh ones, especially if you toast them), for $2. Now that’s a deal I can get on board with.
