A good Chinese restaurant close to campus that delivers? Yes, it exists. But don’t let its bizarre location inside a convenience store deter you, because Wok ‘N Express serves up some of the best Chinese food in Austin. Order with a group so you can get a smorgasbord of dishes — chicken pad Thai, lemongrass chicken, salt and pepper shrimp, and sesame chicken are crowd pleasers.

#SpoonTip: Only order spicy if you are prepared for the heat — don’t say we didn’t warn you.

You really can’t go wrong with the Italian — it’s the perfect layering of deli meat, fresh veggies and delicious sauces in between warm, toasted bread. And because the sandwiches are tightly wrapped, none of the good stuff falls out as you bite into ya sandwich.

Okay, if you live in West Campus and are hella lazy, you might order Cabo Bob’s delivery. Might. But the tortillas are homemade and the tacos are delicious, so it’s kind of worth it, right? Get an order of three tacos: one deluxe fish taco on a buttermilk tortilla, one brisket and queso taco on an ancho chili tortilla, and one chicken taco on a cilantro tomatillo tortilla. Now that’s an awesome taco combo.

Again, if you’re a lazy West Campus dweller, you might order Halal Bros. to your doorstep. But we’re not judging, because the ‘combo over rice’ — a combination of grilled, chopped chicken and tender, lean lamb over spiced Basmati rice with some fresh veggies all topped with its signature white sauce and hot sauce — is wonderful.
