6 Reasons to Brunch at Blue Dahlia Bistro

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Texas chapter.

I know that I am definitely one to wake up in the late morning and crave a gold-ribbon worthy brunch (without killing my wallet) and Blue Dahlia definitely impresses. So, before you hit up the local taco joint in your Nike’s and oversized-tee this Sunday, take a minute to head out to the trendy side of town and hit up this European-style bistro.

From graffiti art to pocket-size boutiques, East 11th Street is bustling with cool new sites to explore. You can also choose the option of sitting on their front patio area and watch fedora-wearing, khaki-cuffing hipsters stroll by in style.

2. Hangover cure? Think egg frittatas.

Daily frittata specials are served with homemade pesto. How could you not?

Pomegranate, mint, and more! All are freshly-squeezed and have free refills. Yes folks, free.

4. A fab excuse to eat carbs…and lots of them.

Not only do you now have a legit reason to eat multiple slices of house-baked bread, but you can also binge-eat them slathered in Nutella. Word.

5. Having the feel of a French bistro without the language barrier.

There is even a lady who comes around playing the accordion and singing in French. Seriously, how awesome is that?!

6. Belgian. Waffles. ‘Nuff said.
