This snack is portable and has lots of protein, good fats, and carbs.

I love snacking on rice cakes because they satisfy my carb cravings, but are lighter and have fewer calories than a slice of bread or crackers. One way I like them is topped with some peanut butter, cinnamon, and banana. You can also make them a savory snack by adding toppings such as guacamole and hummus.
5. Apples and Peanut Butter
Fresh-sliced apples and peanut butter—such a simple and delicious snack. If I’m feeling extra fun, I like a sprinkle of cinnamon on the apples. This pairing is also easy to take along with you in a Tupperware or Ziploc bag to to work or class.
6. Low Fat Cheese and Crackers
Who doesn’t love cheese and crackers? I like to buy pre-sliced cheeses and whole grain crackers from the grocery store to bring on-the-go. This combo is a nice savory snack, and cheese is a good source of protein to keep you full.
