NBC’s Parks and Recreation tragically had its final episode and the world lost what I truly consider to be some of the best characters ever written for television.

The other thought I had while watching the series of the ninth time (you read that right, nine times is called commitment) was, “Where would Leslie Knope hang out in St Andrews?” Then my thoughts snowballed until I had matched every character to a cafe, and I mean EVERY CHARACTER I COULD THINK OF. (Give me a break guys I have a lot of time on my hands). Luckily for you readers, this article is refined to just the main Parks and Rec team.
Leslie Knope- Bibi’s, Ellice Place

Leslie loves her sugar. The girl goes hard when it comes to the sweeter things in life and that calls for the deluxe hot chocolate at Bibi’s. A massive hot chocolate covered in whipped cream and maltesers. Now if that doesn’t sound like Knope, I don’t know what does.
Ann Perkins- Cottage Kitchen, Logies Lane

Oh Ann, the poetic, noble land-mermaid! She’s the best friend Leslie could ever have and thus would obviously follow her to Bibi’s anytime. But Ann is a classic person and a bit of a girls’ girl. When she’s not adopting her boyfriends personality and following him around, I think she’d grab a cup at Cottage Kitchen. She would love the cutesy interior and definitely appreciate those adorable mugs with the animals on them.
Chris Traeger- Zest, South Street

A health nut like Chris may not drink coffee, but he would literally not like anything more than a smoothie from Zest. He would jam pack it full of every fruit and vegetable and then after his daily 5 mile run would jog on over to Holland and Barrett to pick up some vitamins.
April Ludgate- Taste, North Street

Ok we all know she doesn’t hate all people, and is a total softy on the inside when it comes to people she cares about. But in general April hates people and being around them, so obviously she would frequent the smallest cafe in the town. Also her no nonsense attitude screams their flat white to me.
Donna Meagle- The Old Course West Sands Road/Fairmont/Rusacks Hotel, The Links

Donna is the ultimate treat yo self queen, so she would obviously hit up the most exclusive and expensive hotels in town for just a cup of coffee. Also in the case of the Old Course and Fairmont, as they are just outside of town, she has an excuse to hop into her Benz and drive over.
Andy Dwyer- North Point, North Street

Andy is the most adorable and perfect man-child there ever was and thus the infamous North Point pancakes would always be calling his name. While he’s there indulging, he’d grab a mocha to wash them all down.
Ben Wyatt- Prezzo, South Street

In all honesty there is no real place for coffee that would draw Ben in exclusively, however, he can get his coffee fix and a delicious calzone at Prezzo. That would be the exact place you’d expect to find him.
Tom Haverford- Hotel du Vin & Bistro, The Scores

Tom loves opulence as can be seen from his “the word bistro is classy as shit” phrase. Since St Andrews is yet to have a Tom’s Bistro, he would find the most unimaginable place to get simply a cup of coffee, just because it was luxurious and had the word bistro in the name. Respect, TH. Respect.
Ron Swanson- Aikmans, Bell Street

Let’s all face it, Ron doesn’t care where he gets his coffee as long as its no nonsense. What he cares about is good whiskey and minimal conversation. Normally that would be the Keys, but with the negative cell service in Aikman’s basement and minimal seating, Ron could spend his time there avoiding all contact.
