State College is stepping up it’s late night food selection with the grand opening of Sheetz, one of America’s fastest growing family-owned and operated convenience stores. This store is part of a new store concept that provides all of the Sheetz staples that customers know and love without the gas station aspect. Instead, Sheetz will trade in its gas pumps for a “beer cave”, not such a bad trade-off in my opinion.

Located on 129 South Pugh Street, the new downtown location will open it’s door to Penn State students during their grand opening event on Monday, September 28th. During this event, students will have access to free coffee and food samples and grand prize giveaways. Additionally, during the week of the grand opening 15% of all touch screen menu items will be donated to THON.
