Your Favorite Late Night Munchies in Eugene, Ranked

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Oregon chapter.

We all have our favorite late night places to hit after a night of boozing, but I’m here to rank those favorites based on what I’ve learned during my three years in Eugene.

Pizza, tacos, fries, you name it, Eugene’s got it.

6. Agate Alley Bistro

Probably the most underrated place in Eugene is Agate Alley. From happy hours to brunch, they’ve got you covered. The bistro stays open till 1 a.m. most nights and happy hour is from 4-6 p.m. and 10 p.m. until close. Plus, after 10 is when the drink wheel begins and that’s just half the fun.

#spoontip: Get the Northwest mac’ n cheese. You won’t regret it.

5. Sy’s Pizza

Simple, classic and fast. Sy’s has pizza slices bigger than your face. Paired with a couple of garlic knots on the side and your meal is complete. Luckily, Sy’s is open till midnight everyday of the week so you can always count on them for some late night eats.

4. Burrito Boy

Another underrated favorite of mine is Burrito Boy. Located off Franklin Boulevard, this Mexican restaurant fuels all your cheesy desires. Cover your meal in green sauce and finish it off with some Horchata on the side. Devouring a late night breakfast burrito is everything my drunk self has ever wanted and Burrito Boy never fails me.

3. Caspian Mediterranean Cafe

Can you say Feta fries? Caspian has much more than just mediterranean food and it’s all so good. This spot has been a hit throughout my years at Oregon and I can never say no to a late night cheeseburger special. Plus, they deliver late so you can enjoy your fries without moving from the comfort of your home.

2. The Dough Co.

Dough Co. is a Eugene staple and everyone on campus raves about it. Because c’mon, who doesn’t love calzones and cookies delivered right to your doorstep? If you forget to stop there after a night at Taylor’s, then call them up and you’ll have munchies to you in no time. If you’re like me and only enjoy the cookies, order some milk on the side to wash down that chocolatey gooeyness.

1. Uly’s

Number one in our hearts, number one for late night eats. Uly’s tacos satisfy anyone’s drunk cravings and it’s open until 3 a.m. Thursday-Saturday. The owners of Uly’s work every night and will never fail to put a smile on your face. Enjoy a trifecta during your bar crawl intermission and you’ll be ready to party.
