Here at the UO, our lives have come to revolve around football. So it’s no surprise that every bar around campus is doing something special for Superbowl Sunday. What you might not have known is that many bars are having food and drink specials to celebrate. Join the millions of Americans who will have their faces glued to the TV on Sunday February 1st at 3:30 pm to watch the Superbowl.
New Max’s Tavern
Located at 550 East 13th Avenue, Max’s bar is one of a kind. Happy hour will be 4:00pm-8:00pm on Sunday with plenty of drinks such as Car Bombs, Max’s famous lemonade, GINger and more. Their best selling handmade Whiskey Sour is to die for. Want to hear the best part about it all? Max’s is having a free BBQ on Sunday to celebrate the Superbowl. If that doesn’t make your mouth water maybe this will. Free burgers, sausages, steak, ribs, chili and more. I think I know where I will be Sunday.

Taylor’s Bar & Grill
Located right on the edge of campus at 894 East 13th Avenue, Taylor’s is the go to place to watch any sports game. On Sunday, Taylor’s is having happy hour all day. Every touchdown there will be fireball shots for only $4.00. Oh yeah, things are getting rowdy at Taylor’s. Plus, whoever is the best dressed fan gets a free snowboard, yes you heard right, a FREE snowboard. Could it get any sweeter than that?

The Webfoot Bar & Grill
Known for their cheap beer, addictive Webfoot Punch and delicious food, Webfoot Bar & Grill is located 839 East 13th Avenue and is a perfect place to watch the Superbowl. With Oregon Ducks decor lining the walls and more TVs than you can could imagine, Webfoot has a spunky, positive atmosphere. Happy hour is from 5:00pm-8:00pm, and from 10:00pm-12:00pm Vodka Monsters and Fireball shots are only $4.00. A little birdy also told me they would have plenty of jello shots. What more could you want?

Rennie’s Landing
Right around the corner from the Duck Store at 1214 Kincaid Street sits a bar that has it all. From great drinks to delicious food to arcade games and a pool table, there is so much to do here. Happy hour is from 4:00pm- 7:00pm and Sunday deals include $5.75 Bloody Mary’s, $6.00 Manmosas and $3.00 Imports. Rennie’s is most famous for its cheesy bacon tots and Rennie’s Lemonade, which includes berry vodka, orange vodka, black raspberry liqueur and lemonade.
