Where To Eat This Thanksgiving in New York City

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at NYU chapter.

Thanksgiving has always been a weird time for international students. Being an international student myself, four days has simply never been enough time to travel across the world on a 14-hour flight to see my family and eat some turkey. Luckily, during this time, New York City becomes the meeting hub for other international students who have nowhere to go. It’s a special time where we come together after months of separation and splurge on the luxuries of having a Thanksgiving meal out. No laboring in the kitchen, no stress and absolutely no dishes to clean.

Whether you’re a fellow international student who doesn’t want to miss out on the great food this American holiday has to offer or if you’re looking for an easy alternative to a traditional home-cooked meal, there are endless options here in New York. From Michelin starred eateries to humble all-you-can-eat dining, check out my (extensively researched!) list of places to eat this Thanksgiving. Start making reservations soon… slots are filling up fast!
