New York City is famed for its theater, which draws in thousands of tourists every week. One of the best parts of going into the city to see a show is the meal before the show. Since you’re in one of the most diverse cities in the world, you’re basically guaranteed to find restaurants that will work for anyone’s palate and wallet.
#SpoonTip: Always make sure to tell your server the time and location of your show — they’ll make sure to serve you fast enough so you can get to the theater on time.
1. John’s Pizzeria
New Yorkers love this funky establishment and its thin-as-paper crust pizza. Their menu of appetizers, salads, pizzas (their motto is “No Slices”), and entrees that will satisfy any hungry theatergoer.
#SpoonTip: Ask for a seat near the brick ovens to watch the pizzas be made at lightning speed.
