5. Bordertown Coffee

With coffee coming from around the world, you’ll never experience the same drink twice at Bordertown. Located in the heart of the University of Minnesota, it’s a local favorite for many students.

#SpoonTip: Bordertown has a “library room” that can be rented out for study sessions, office meeting or a class event.

6. Purple Onion Cafe

You’ll find Purple Onion right on the University of Minnesota’s campus — making it an ideal study spot for many students. With delicious coffee, tea and breakfast or lunch items, you can never go wrong.

#SpoonTip: Purple Onion also serves Grand Ole’ Creamery’s famouse ice cream!

7. Cafe Astoria

Okay, while Cafe Astoria may not be in Minneapolis, it’s in the neighboring city of Saint Paul. Not only does the cafe serve elegant drinks but also the tastiest crepes.

#SpoonTip: The weekends are always packed at Cafe Astoria, so try visiting during the weekdays.

While finding the perfect study spot is practically a personal endeavor, this list may help narrow your choices. And, luckily, you won’t have to stick to Starbucks or Caribou.
