What Your Farmers Market Order Says About You

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Miami chapter.

College is constantly described as a time where people find their true selves. Little did you know that this question of “Who am I?” could be answered every Wednesday in the form of an overpriced Farmers Market purchase.

Your room consists of vinyl records because “it sounds so much better”, succulents, and a tapestry from Urban Outfitters. You’ll probably eat this on the green in flowy, patterned pants complaining about the lack of almond milk at coffee shops. And lemme guess, you’re in the Arts and Sciences school?

You’re an all around aggressive person. You put 110% into every action, even your farmers market choice. Liv on a Sunday? Why not. Stuffing your face with an Argentinian sausage in front of your whole school? Absolutely.

You’re either afraid to step out of your comfort zone or you’re a freshman. Or both. This is your wake up call to try something new. Yes, this guacamole is straight fire, but don’t hesitant to expand your horizons.

You’re a pretty quirky person. You are sporting some graphic tee with a semi funny pun on it. Also, you might be extremely active on Facebook, constantly posting statuses about your obscure club’s bake sale in the breezeway.

You are so Miami. You were ecstatic to find out that the farmers market finally got acai bowls, now you don’t need to drive all the way to Jugofresh for an Instagram.

You are kind of health conscious, however you make exceptions for drunken Grove Pizza. Oh and you have to go to Soul Cycle later because its a 90s Britney Spears class.

You’re an extremely dedicated person. When you have your mind set on something, you make it happen. It doesn’t matter if it’s 85 degrees and 11am, you’re gonna get that warm, Nutella smothered crepe.

You’re also put up with that awful French man every Wednesday. If that isn’t dedication I don’t know what is.

You are my weird cousin that I hide from at family gatherings. Seriously though, what are you doing? Go get an empanada or something.
