7 Places You Have to Try in Cali If You’re a Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Fanatic

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Losangeles chapter.

You either like Flamin’ Hot Cheetos or you don’t, and the people who like them tend be absolutely obsessed. I mean how could you not be? They’re spicy, crunchy and just overall amazing.

Even though Hot Cheetos have always been a favorite for elementary school lunches, they have recently become a food trend for young adults. All different types of restaurants in Southern California have been creating unique Hot Cheeto menu items and they are all definitely must tries. Just beware, you might have to drive a little far.

Their saying “not your typical wiener” is most definitely true. They offer a variety of ingredients like bacon, teriyaki sauce, and fried egg to slather on the wiener of you choice, but more importantly, they have Hot Cheetos.

If you want a burger that will remind you of your childhood lunches then Pie Dog is the place for you. They take a normal burger but then top it with some childhood favorites, Hot Cheetos and Kraft mac n’ cheese. Sounds like the best way to reminisce about your past to me.

7. Lock & Key Social Drinkery

A Hot Cheeto pie? I know it sounds disgusting but it’s not what you think. This small Downey bar takes Hot Cheetos and tops it with jalapeño brined nacho cheese, chorizo, lemon sour cream and green onions. Take my advice and go try it, you won’t be disappointed.
