Providence Restaurant Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at JWU Providence chapter.

If you’re a food lover, Providence is your new go-to. If you’re a food lover on a budget, you’ll be ecstatic to hear about Providence’s Restaurant Week. From Sunday, January 10th through Saturday, January 23rd, you can dine at some of Providence’s finest restaurants for prices that are too good to be true.

From Gracie’s, to Cafe Dolce Vita, to UMelt, there’s a participating restaurant for every taste. Even college student’s can afford to get in on the action. Lunches. 3-course prix-fixe lunches are just $14.95 per person while prix-fixe dinners are $29.95 or $34.95 per person. Since some appetizers are normally priced at $12, these prix-fixe menus are a steal.

Although it’s called Providence Restaurant Week, there are participating restaurants all over Rhode Island and even in nearby Massachusetts.

The challenge? Fit as many lunches and dinners in as possible. Better start calling that friend you’ve been meaning to catch up with.
