SpoonIU Had Its Official Launch Party and It Was Awesome

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at IU chapter.

The official launch party of Spoon University’s IU chapter happened last weekend, and it was basically the bomb. ‘Around the World with Spoon University’ was an international picnic in Dunn Meadow that featured delicious food from local Bloomington restaurants, music from Marshall Robbins and the Phunk Nasty’s and a super chill vibe thanks to the sun soaked spring day.

Hoosiers are a pretty eclectic bunch when it comes to food, so SpoonIU organized a smorgasbord of options. There was food from:

The best part of the event was that the $5 entrance fee gave you an all-you-can-eat ticket.

Attendees could sample everything and then chill out in the grass and listen to Marshall Robbins and the Phunk Nasty’s.

…and then they could get more food and repeat the cycle. Something about chilling on the grass on a sunny day just makes you want to never stop eating.

Since EatStreet sponsored the event, guests could partake in the festivities for a reduced rate just by downloading the EatStreet app.

Don’t you wish you’d come? (The answer is obviously yes).
