In honor of March being National Nutrition Month, Ithaca College’s Spoon University chapter is excited to announce its first-ever Grain Bowl Bar event on Monday, March 27 from 5-8 p.m. in Terrace Dining Hall.
There will be a several options, so choose wisely.
If you opt for a salad, you can select one of two pre-made bowls inspired by the trendy salad chain, Sweetgreen.
Or, if you are feeling creative, you can customize your own bowl, starting with a leaf base of kale or spinach, and/or a grain base of quinoa, farro or wild rice. This station will be fully stocked with an assortment of dressings and toppings, like nuts, craisins, apples, avocado, black beans and sweet potatoes.
Not in the mood for a bowl? Grab some vegan mac and cheese at the pasta station. Pick up a vegetarian burger at the “burger” bar. Build yourself a vegan taco at the make-your-own taco station. The possibilities are endless.
Dessert will be served, as well, so make sure to save room.
So, start your week off right and indulge in some healthy eats at Terrace’s on Monday.
