3 Clever Ways to Stay Hydrated At a Concert

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Hofstra chapter.

Not everyone remembers to stay hydrated when they are at a concert. In fact, if they are in general admission, they are probably too busy trying to get the best spot they can. That is a mistake, my friend.

Many concert-goers know that if they were to bring an opened water bottle, they will be forced to throw it away. Little do they know, there are ways to keep the thirst low.

1. Bring two water bottles instead of one

One bottle can be opened, while the other bottle remains closed. You would not have to worry about saving and drinking the water until you are inside the venue. When you are feeling thirsty while waiting for the doors to open, just open one bottle and you’re set.

2. Bring hydrating foods

Water is not always enough to stay hydrated. People would need some foods that will keep them hydrated as well. Packing small amounts of fruits and veggies (i.e., celery, watermelon, and strawberries) will help with hydration.

3. Sports drinks are key

Sports drinks are handy when it comes to staying hydrated. Not only will it give you some energy, but it will also balance your body from the sugar and sodium. Make sure you drink your sports drink before entering the venue, because the only liquid that is allowed is water.
