If you haven’t heard of the newest app for food-lovers from the guys that run Food Network—Tastemade—then you’re missing out.
Okay, what the heck is Tastemade?
Tastemade is two-fold:
1. Amateur and professional video food bloggers have their own channels where they film short, easy recipe clips.
2. Users from 26 cities around the globe make awesome, minute-long videos reviewing restaurants in their city with awesome tips and clips of food.
Following are DC’s best, most drool-worthy (in our opinion) videos:
Estadio
Josh shows us what it’s like to wine and dine over Spanish tapas—for brunch. These patatas bravas have us clamoring for the weekend.
Le Diplomat
If you don’t believe the hype, take it two French expats—Le Diplomat is the a French food-lover’s paradise. Le Diplomate
China Chilcano
Jose Andres’ newest establishment boasts Peruvian, Chinese and Japanese fusion. Cure[ate] founder Kim Bryden shows us exactly why we need to give it a try—Andres loved this video so much, he Tweeted about it.

Dangerously Delicious Pies
You can’t really go wrong with pies, right? Just look at Ethan’s choices, from savory to sweet and quiche to berry, this H St. venue has some amazing choices.
Ted’s Bulletin
Renee stopped by Ted’s for the home-made Poptarts and hand-spun milkshakes we all know and love.
Tacos El Chilango
When the thumbnail of a video looks like this, the rest has gotta be good. Check out John’s take on Tacos El Chilango, and make it your next late night spot.
Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken
You really can’t go wrong when you pair donuts with fried chicken, especially when in sandwich form.

Po’ Boy Jim
If you’re a sandwich lover and you’ve never had a Po’ Boy, that’s gotta change. Like Sean says, at Po’ Boy Jim they’re “out of this world”.
Pizzeria Paradiso
You can take it from the folks at The Daily Dish—they know good food when they taste it.
